Olympic Gold
A 3-time American Olympian in 4-man bobsled, Steve and his team became the first Americans to win a World Championship title in 50 years in 2009. A year later, they won gold for the first time in 62 years for the U.S. at the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games. Steve served on the board of directors of the world’s largest Olympic Committee, the US Olympic and Paralympic Committee, from 2015-2022. During his time as a Director, the organization experienced many challenges while also expanding inclusion to Paralympians, increasing direct athlete support, and winning an Olympic bid.
